Democrats for the Protection of Animals Endorses Jeannine Wisnosky Stehlin for Culver City Council
CULVER CITY, Calif. – Jeannine Wisnosky Stehlin, candidate for Culver City City Council, has earned the endorsement of Democrats for the Protection of Animals, an organization dedicated to advancing animal welfare and the humane treatment of animals.
“I’m incredibly proud to have the endorsement of Democrats for the Protection of Animals,” said Wisnosky Stehlin. “Animal welfare has always been important to me personally. Our family has fostered kittens for local rescue organizations, and I believe how we treat animals says a great deal about the kind of community we are.”
Wisnosky Stehlin has supported animal rescue and welfare efforts and believes local government has an important role to play in promoting responsible, humane treatment of animals and supporting the organizations and volunteers doing this work in the community.
“Animal rescue organizations and their volunteers do extraordinary work, often with limited resources,” Wisnosky Stehlin said. “I’m grateful to the people who devote their time to caring for animals in need, and I’m committed to making sure animal welfare is part of the conversation when decisions affecting our community are made.”
Wisnosky Stehlin is a small business owner and longtime Culver City community leader who has called Culver City home for more than 26 years. Her campaign is focused on quality of life, traffic and mobility, affordability and fiscal responsibility, City and schools working together, safe neighborhoods and emergency preparedness, and transparency and accountability in City government.
